MAX GUROWSKI - President, VLC / Head Coach
  • Currently, Head Lacrosse Coach / Teacher at Nease High School
  • From Rochester, New York
  • Attended Webster Thomas High School and graduated in 2008 as a 3x Divisional Champion, 3x All-County member, 4-year letter winner, and the school’s all-time assist leader
  • Member of the inaugural men's lacrosse team at Jacksonville University
  • Helped JU to 17 wins in the program’s first three years, with wins over two NCAA playoff participants, an appearance in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference semifinals, and a win over Navy in the Moe's Southwest Classic
  • During his time for the Dolphins he was a two-year starter at attack and a three-year letter winner
  • Finished with 56 career points for JU
  • Graduated in 2015, with a Master’s Degree in Education
  • Previous coaching experience includes with The Bolles School, Brine National Lacrosse Classic, Team Florida, PV Possums, Dawgs LC, LB3, Jacksonville Lacrosse Club, Webster Lacrosse Club, and as the Lacrosse Director at i-9 Sports
  • Helped lead Nease to a 13-7 Record in 2016 and finish as District VI Runner-Up
  • Mentored an Academic All-American in Ian Areford, now at St. Leo University
  • Finished Top 15 in the State according to LaxPower and FLN
  • Helped lead Nease to a 13-5 Record in 2017 and finish as District VI Runner-Up
  • Competed against the #7 rated Strength of Schedule in the State of Florida
  • Mentored an Academic All-American in Sean Howard, now at Florida Southern University
  • Finished Top 20 in the State according to LaxPower and FLN
  • Named US Lacrosse North Florida Head Coach of the Year in 2017
  • Helped lead Nease to a 10-7 Record in 2018 and finish as District VI Runner-Up
  • Competed against a Top 5 rated Strength of Schedule in the State of Florida
  • Mentored two US Lacrosse All-Americans in Ashton Wood, now at Mercer University, and Phil Mylet, now at the University of Florida
  • Finished Top 15 in the State according to LaxPower and FLN.
  
 BRIAN DUNCAN - Assistant Coach
 
  • Assistant Coach Florida Launch MLL
  • Currently, Head Lacrosse Coach of Flagler College
  • Florida Brine National Lacrosse Classic Head Coach 2011-2016
  • Florida Tech 2015 Offensive coordinator; 12.7 gpg/ 38% man up/ 12-4
  • Head Coach of Bolles High School from 2013-14. In his two seasons at  Bolles, Duncan led the team to a 7-11 and 10-5 records with two District Championships.
  • Assistant Coach for Division-I Jacksonville University.
  • Team won 11 games in first two years & made the MAAC playoffs in JU’s first year in the conference. Also directed the Jacksonville Lacrosse Club 2009-13
  • Head Coach at Essex Community College in Baltimore from 2004-09.
  • Essex 1999-2009 27 1st team AA / 16 2nd team AA / 3 National Players of the Year
  • In 2004, the team finished 19-0 and won the NJCAA National Championship
  • 2016: Placed 4 Essex grads on All time team at UMBC
  • 9 out 11 Final Fours
  • 6 out 11 National Championships
  • Two NJCAA runner-ups finish and five times named the Region 20 Coach of the Year.
  • 6 Club National Championships with Lil Abner's, Lax World, Lax World-DeWalt, DeWalt Lacrosse Clubs
  • Drafted Pro by Pittsburgh Bulls 1993/Baltimore Thunder 1994

  
  TYLER BLACK - Assistant Coach
  • From Jupiter, FL and attended Jupiter High School
  • Named All-America as a Senior at Jupiter HS
  • Student-Athlete at Jacksonville University, 4 year starter at the LSM position
  • As a Junior in 2013, MAAC Champions and named to the MAAC All-Tournament team 
  • As a Senior in 2014, was named Second Team All-Atlantic Sun Conference
  • Program’s all-time leader in caused turnovers (58) and third in JU history in ground balls (130) 
  • Named Team Captain in 2014
  • Awarded the MAAC Defensive Player of the Week award on 3/18 and 4/1
  • Previous coaching experience includes Ponte Vedra Sharks JV Head Coach in 2015 and Assistant Coach with the District Champion Varsity Sharks along with assisting in the Possums Club program
  • Assistant Coach with Nease Lacrosse as a Defensive Coordinator
  •  Three time District VI Runner Up, Finished 36-19 in 2016, 2017, 2018 seasons
  • Currently, Superintendent at Dream Finders Homes

  
 CONNOR LINDSEY - Assistant Coach
  • From West Chester, New York
  • Attended Arlington High School
  • As a Junior, earned All League, All Section, Hudson Valley All-Star, and Sec. 1 All-Star
  • Named Hudson Valley Offensive Player of the Year
  • As a Senior, earned All League, All Section, Hudson Valley All-Star, and All Section All-Star
  • Named Hudson Valley Lacrosse Player of the Year
  • Student Athlete at JUCO Nassau Community College, and Division II C.W. Post
  • Assistant Coach with Nease Lacrosse
  • Two time District VI Runner Up, Finished 23-12 in 2017, 2018 seasons
  • Currently, employed at Dream Finders Homes
  
  MICHAEL COTTER - Assistant Coach
  • From Massapequa, New York
  • Attended Nease High School
  • 4 Year Varsity Letterman 2012 – 2016
  • Elected Captain as a Senior, 2016
  • Lacrosse experience includes Jacksonville Lacrosse Club, Brine National Lacrosse Classic, Team Florida, and LB3 Elite
  • Junior Varsity Head Coach for Nease Boy’s Lacrosse
  
  BRENNAN ASPLEN IV - Assistant Coach
  • From St. Augustine, Florida
  • Attended Bartram High School
  • 4 Year Varsity Letterman in lacrosse, 3 Year Varsity Letterman in football
  • Earned All-County in Lacrosse as a Senior
  • Student-athlete at Division II Wingate University in North Carolina
  • 2x Conference Champion and an Elite Eight Appearance
  • Named Team Captain 2x at Wingate
  • Junior Varsity Assistant Coach for Nease Boy's Lacrosse

  • 4 Year Letterman at Jacksonville University
  • Named 3x Academic All Conference, started 25+ games in three years
  • SoCon 2018 Runner-Up in best season in JU's history
